Miscellaneous at home and around town (Feb/Mar/Apr/May/Jun-2005) uploaded. For example, you can see we went to Joe's Italian Ice and I got a lime ice mixed with orange soft serve ice cream. Tasty... Also we have proof that the City of Santa Ana's street sign department can't spell, and that Trader Joe's has trouble identifying fruits. And there are one or two shots of library_lynn and Maria.

And I've uploaded our attempt at shooting our own passport photos (09-Jun-2005). 2 megapixels isn't enough; the rule basically is that the printout has to look like you can't tell it was digital, i.e. you shouldn't be able to see the pixels and it should look like a continuous-tone photograph. The quicky passport photo I had done at Kinko's was in the same shirt as these shots, though. (And I'm considering wearing that shirt every time I go through a border with my passport...)

2 megapixels wasn't the problem, I'm sure. You can print 4x6 at full photo quality from 2MP (and in fact you can print a good shot at 8x10 and nobody will notice). You certainly won't see any pixels; I've got half a dozen 8x10s framed on the walls here. (In fact, you have to do rather weird photoshop wizardry to *make* a print where the pixels show).

Hey, I returned from india realizing that my mother hadn't returned the last set of cds we borrowed from you a whole year ago. I would be really sad if they weren't returned. I am glad I found your livejournal. I hope that all is well.

Don't take it so hard; I expected to be sent back to Tulsa a month or so later and I'd be able to pick them up myself. And then when I knew I'd be at a convention she'd likely turn up at, I didn't give her a heads-up to bring them to K.C...
