There's this animé picnic thing weekend after next, called Akibiyori. They've asked me to be one of their guests of honor. (The other two are talented female cosplay musicians; perhaps they wanted a guy without any talent to balance out the ticket?) In any event, I'll be there, on Saturday the 5th of November. It's in Fullerton at Craig Park, and it's a daytime affair. I'll be at my little purple animelosangeles table.

Christian's joining me, library_lynn can't make it (she's working); selinawoman, want to join the fun? I've got a couple of spare memberships, I can get you in...

Also, this weekend (Saturday and Sunday) Christian and I will be at yaoicon up by SFO. Look for us there, too.

I appreciate the invitation, but I'm going to spend all day Saturday sitting at a table at yaoicon, promoting my own convention animelosangeles. And they have evening programming we'll be checking out too...
