Some of you are on our Christmas card mailing list. And others of you have told me, "Just send the digital version." I mentioned earlier I'd finished our Christmas newsletter. ( Our 2007 Christmas newsletter is right here ) and you can click on the image to see a huge PDF (9.9 MB). Or view the PNG file (7.5 MB).
It's a joint project-- Lynn picks a bunch of photos from Hazel's Picture Gallery, and I edit down the batch to cover the highlights of the previous year. Since I got such a late start on it, I didn't do as much culling as I usually do, so there are a lot more photos than last year.
I've printed labels for the envelopes, and
library_lynn and I will be signing a whole bunch of cards in an effort to have them postmarked before Christmas. We got the newsletters printed in record time on the HP CLJ. I noticed one omission -- we should have mentioned that
missmea is in the Master's program at UC Riverside. Oh well. We can mention that next year, I guess.
The cards are random cards we bought at the store. Some years we've had really cool cards. I'd like to do more of that in future years. It takes a few extra weeks of planning, though, and not getting sick for half of December.
For those who came in late and want to see our previous years' newsletters, 2006 (1.8 MB PDF) and 2005 (770 KB PDF) are online. I know we've been doing it for longer than that. I need to find the old files and upload them! (In my copious...)
EDIT: Found viewing-size JPEG images for 2005, 2004 and 2003.
