library_lynn took a shower and discovered we're out of hot water.
The hot water closet's floor was wet. I couldn't get the pilot light to stay lit. (Sure glad it's all outside the house.) Well, we'd been warned that the hot water heater needed to be replaced -- we were going to have it done after the various other jobs had been finished.
I took my own cold shower just now, while Lynn goes out to take care of its replacement. Unfortunately ours has an insulating jacket all around it, covering up its instruction sheet and vital statistics, so she measured a few dimensions and is basically going to wing it.
Pat and Eric are staying with us tonight: wonder if we'll have hot water in time to be good hosts?
