For six weeks so far I've been writing thank you letters to the 543 staff and volunteers who made Animé Los Angeles 11 happen. I'm more than 70% done. I do them in alphabetical order by last initial, more or less; right now I'm in the middle of P.
These were the people that ran the convention. I was just the chair. I believe the least I can do is write and say thank you. And so I carry around a box of notecards and some of the stamps and pre-addressed labels, and a checklist, and when I have some minutes to spare I write another one.
I set myself a minimum target of at least six a day, so I can push that "percent completed" up at least one tick before I go to bed. So I'll be done in no more than 27 more days.
