hazelchazLong day.
Left work, drove for hours, arrived San Jose Doubletree (Baycon) at midnight, checked into a room. Tried to check out L.A.con IV party, but the door dragons on the 2nd floor turned me back because I had no badge. They told me Reg was still open, and I had my checkbook in my pocket, so I went downstairs to the first floor. But there they turned me away because I'd left my driver's license in my room, so I had to go back up to the 8th floor. Went up to 8, back down to 1, up to 2 again after I got my badge, and by then they'd shut down the party.
Oh well.
Stopped at Kevin and Andy's "League of Evil Geniuses" (CostumeCon) party. Stopped at![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
johno and chriso's party, got myself a "Live Journal" badge. Shades of the badges EPS used to make for the @! parties...
I'm booked into this hotel, and Baycon, for tonight; checkout is noon, they don't have any vacancies Saturday night. But I have a reservation over at the Hilton attached to the convention center for Fanime on Saturday. Then back here to the Doubletree for another day of Baycon and staying over Sunday night. I'm going to spend half my weekend checking in and out of hotels!
I'm having some fun here, taking photos, handing out silly ribbons. Sawkarisu_sama, saw a bunch of other LJ friends here...
